Hollie Guard is a the UK’s largest safety app which can turn any mobile phone into a personal security device and has been praised by police forces across the UK. In this case study film, Jonathan Evison, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside, explains how the partnership with PanicGuard, the makers of Hollie Guard, is working to prevent violence against vulnerable people in the community, particularly women and girls.

Jonathan explains in the film how the app has been activated in over 14,000 cases of stalking, harassment and domestic abuse, leading to rapid police responses, arrests and safeguarding of victims.

The film has helped both the PCC and Hollie Guard to highlight the success of the partnership and communicate to other police forces the potential of the app to reduce crime and protect the public.
